The first step in the Eagle Project process is to select the project you want to do and then seek approval from the Troop Committee. To see what is involved with getting that approval, go to Eagle Scout Service Project - Committee Approval of Project Plan. Here is a listing of Past Eagle Projects scouts in Troop 29 have completed.
Eagle Scout Candidates are responsible for writing up a description of their projects and getting them posted here on the site. This will help enable younger scouts in the troop to learn from the older scouts, giving them a chance to see how you go about such a huge project. You can also take advantage of the web posting by listing your volunteer needs for your particular project.
To submit your project for posting, type up your description in some word processing program and email it to the troop Webmaster by clicking the Web Submissions.
Troop 29 presents an Eagle gift to qualifying Eagle Scouts at their Eagle Court of Honor. The gift includes a trophy, Eagle Scout beret, neckerchief with Eagle insignia and a scarf slide with Eagle insignia. The troop will reimburse for the purchase of a ¼ sheet cake.
